TOPCON is proud to announce the new, essential illumination device for corneal surgery.
Surgeons can now use the slit illuminator during lamellar corneal surgery to confirm the following:
- Host-Graft Attachment Interface
- Anterior Chamber Depth
- Stromal Bed Thickness
- Double Chamber
Slit illumination allows for easy observation of the host-graft interface.
Point A : Very narrow space between host and graft
Point B : Wide space between
host and graft
Anterior chamber depth and graft location are easily identified
Slit illumination also enables direct visualization of residual stromal thickness distribution.
Lower arrow :
Inferior part is relatively thinner.
